The International Beer Day 2023

At work, we recently celebrated International Beer Day - dedicated to unity, sharing, and appreciation of the brewing craft. Employees were encouraged to wear something commemorating the day to mark the occasion.

So, we decided to get creative, do some craft work, and shop at a second-hand store to find the things we needed for our beer day outfits. During our shopping trip, we stumbled upon some great aprons that we could decorate to match our casual wear.

I created some stickers to modify the design of the apron. Specifically, we wanted to replace the image of a King with a Queen. However, we didn't want to get rid of the original design completely because the apron might come in handy in the future. To achieve this, we opted for removable vinyl printable stickers, perfect for temporary decoration.

Additionally, we printed out logos of some of Australia's top beer companies to place on the pockets of each apron.

Unfortunately, we could not locate beer-shaped earrings that would complement the outfit at the store. As a result, we resorted to using laminated sticker earrings as an alternative. But the earrings we made are also very cute., cheap and easy to make.

Of course a balloon beer design will be a prop for the day.

I have never drunk beer in my life, but I might add it to my bucket list of 100 things to try. Nonetheless, to celebrate International Beer Day, we incorporated our crafts into the festivities.
